You're invited to a special evening on October 13th as the SCSO proudly presents "Young Stars and Old Masters." SCSO will be showcasing exceptional young talent from right here in the SCV with performances by the three winners of the 2024 Youth Concerto Competition. We'll be performing:
Mozart's 35th Symphony
Brahms' Academic Overture
Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2 (1st movement)
Harry Christiansen, piano
Chausson's Poème, Op. 25
Mallika Sheshadri, violin
Elgar's Cello Concerto (4th movement)
Ian Lee, cello
